SUMMARY:Bringing Gambling Disorder Into Behavioral Health Treatment: An Integration Story
DESCRIPTION:Many people dealing with Gambling Disorder are also dealing with co-occcurring mental health and substance use challenges\, and yet in most states\, treatment for Gambling Disorder remains mostly siloed. Over the past three years\, Oregon has been developing an integrated co-occurring disorders treatment initiative that includes Gambling Disorder screening and treatment. This session will discuss Oregon’s strategy and implementation work\, models for integrating treatment for Gambling Disorder into a broader behavioral health treatment system\, treatment factors\, program design\, and broader systems issues.
