Every year, the National Council on Problem Gambling brings together treatment providers, gambling operators, advocates, and scholars from across America for an annual conference that delves into the latest developments in gambling addiction and responsible gambling. This year, they will be assembling in the heart of it all — Ohio. 

Even if you don’t plan to attend, there is a great deal to learn about the oldest and largest conference in the problem gambling field, taking place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center July 16-18. Online registration is open until July 13. Here’s what you need to know. 

An Ohio Keynote Kicks Off the Conference

The National Conference on Gambling Addiction & Responsible Gambling 2025 formally kicks off on July 17 with an exciting keynote from responsible gambling leaders in Ohio. Our state has blazed the way forward in the gambling treatment and responsible gambling space for over 50 years, and this session will highlight how Ohio continues to lead in both our state and the nation. 

The conference will feature three days of educational sessions and speakers, including a broad range of presenters that reflect Ohio’s prominence and expertise in the responsible gambling and gambling treatment fields.
