Description:
Ohio’s has a number of award-winning statewide problem gambling campaigns that contain a variety of tools designed to be used by local professionals. This workshop will review each campaign’s website and toolkits in depth and help participants identify ways in which they can use the tools to enhance problem gambling education, information dissemination, and problem identification and referral efforts. No-cost personalization options will be highlighted as well as ways to use the campaigns to promote agency services. |
Learning Objectives:
1. Review websites and resources related to the Pause Before You Play, Change the Game Ohio, Keep in Fun Ohio, and Make the Call campaigns
2. Showcase examples of ways to incorporate educational tools into programming
3. Share information dissemination tactics including how to measure effectiveness, how to determine audience, and being targeted during outreach
4. Walk through steps to personalize campaigns through Origo Branding
5. Devise plans to use toolkit materials
