Description: 

This presentation will highlight populations that are at-risk for developing problems with gambling and what makes them more vulnerable. Theories that identify risk and protective factors for problem gambling will be reviewed including the Search Institute Developmental Assets, ACEs, and Socio-Ecological Models. Targeted strategies will be shared on how to utilize and apply CSAP strategies to effectively reach these populations.

1. Utilize data and research to identify populations that are at risk for problem gambling.
2. Review prevention theories related to risk and protective factors.
3. Apply CSAP strategies to targeted problem gambling prevention.
